Busy day...
0540 wakeup
0645 in class - Engines and systems
1000 swam a mile in a flight suit (only 46 min 10 sec!)
1130 lunch
1300 Navigation class... fought to stay awake while re-learning lat/lon, courses, headings etc etc.
1520 went to the "Museum of Naval Aviation" with my Engines class and looked at about 10 different types of gas generators (jet engines) from about 10 different Navy planes. The guy in green is the instructor and the engines look complicated, but they're really not, for the most party they only have about one moving part.
1700 drove home - nice weather, haven't put the top up on the car in a long time.
Oh and Mom, in case you don't believe that I'm actually studying... (and not going to New Orleans every weekend..) this picture comes from my room... yes I bought a 3' by 4' whiteboard for my room. It has on it maybe less than a quarter of what I needed to know for the Aero II exam yesterday.
I get my flight suits, boots, leather jacket, nomex jacket, gloves, helmet and who knows what else issued to me tomorrow. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited.
