I almost forgot, it's 2009

by the way, Happy New Year and thanks to everyone who's been reading this! I'm always amazed to hear how many people keep up with what I am doing and support me in so many ways. I feel very lucky and cannot thank you enough, if there's one thing I've learned growing up in Darien, at Hill, USNA and as a flight student is that in life, you'll never make it alone.

Oh, yeah and my New Year's Resolution is to do better in flight school and select the F/A-18 Hornet (any model but preferably out of NAS Oceana, VA). I also resolve to not do worse and to be more lucky so I don't end up selecting the E-2C Hawkeye or C-2 Greyhound. But seriously, I resolve to learn as much as I can, not just about flight school, but the world in general, to be as open-minded as I can be, to do something, however small, to make the world better and to keep up with the friends and family I care about as best as possible while I live so far away from them.

Great resolutions, James and, knowing you, very doable.

How many readers do you have at this point?
